DEMO: Before we start adding the parts of our flag, let's learn what user input is and how it works.

A user is someone who will use the program that you build. User input asks the user to type in a text window.

The text the user enters is stored in a the variable called choice. We call this an input variable.

  • Click Run and follow the instructions on the stage to complete the activity.
  • Then click Submit and Next to continue.

To navigate the page using the TAB key, first press ESC to exit the code editor.
