STEP 1: Let's start our project by setting the background image and choosing a sprite.

  • Click on and drag out Space.
  • Click on and drag out UFO.

In this lesson, we've set up a grid to help you find your way around. You'll also see sprites appear behind-the-scenes.

Normally, you will not see the coordinate plane on the stage, but you will still be able to use it to move sprites around.
